L.I.R.A. was formed in the 70‘s by Frank Velleggia, Vince
Culotta and Buddy Chiapparelli. These pioneers and owners of Velleggia’s,
Sabatino’s and Chiapparelli’s saw the need for unity
among the restaurants. They believed that by forming L.I.R.A.,
a united voice would be more beneficial to the welfare and success
of the “The Neighborhood.” Many years have passed and
L.I.R.A. is now bigger, better and stronger than ever.

Mary Ann Cricchio, owner of DaMimmo, is the current President
of L.I.R.A. and guiding force, backed by participating membership.
